Posted by Kevin de Bruyne, a midfielder for Manchester City, has expressed his fear that manager Pep Guardiola may bench him if he fails to meet expectations.
During midweek’s match against Aston Villa, De Bruyne did not even get off the bench.
At the Etihad, City defeated Villa 4-2 thanks to a hat trick from Phil Foden.
However, Foden was benched in Saturday’s early kickoff match against Crystal Palace, as Guardiola started De Bruyne.
They answered at Selhurst Park with two goals and an assist from De Bruyne, leading to a 4-2 victory.
