It is important for Muslims to keep loving one another and serving mankind selflessly even after Ramadan ends, according to Yahaya Abubakar, Chairman of the Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers and Etsu Nupe.
At Saturday’s end of Ramadan Tafsir at Bida’s Maasaba Jumma’at Mosque, the Etsu Nupe made this statement.
“We must always demonstrate a charitable attitude; we must touch the needy and our people. This obligation does not end with Ramadan. Love for oneself and one’s neighbours should be one’s top priority during the 29 or 30 days of Ramadan, he said.
He emphasized the need of following the teachings of the Tafsir lectures and sermons in accordance with the commands of Almighty Allah.
The traditional monarch of Nigeria also encouraged the rich to always be completely submissive to God’s instructions and to continue showing thanks by aiding others.
There is no alternative to peace, Abubakar said, adding that the country would never achieve genuine progress unless there is lasting national unity and peace.
He firmly believes that Nigerians were made uniquely by God, and he insists that God is perfect. The cultural, religious, and ethnic diversity of Nigerians was meant to bring them closer together, not drive a wedge between them.
