IGP names state PPROs and deputy FPRO

Saturday, Olukayode Egbetokun, the Inspector General of Police, gave his approval for the assignment of a Deputy Public Relations Officer and two dedicated Police Public Relations Officers (PPROs) to the Force Headquarters in Abuja.

A statement signed by Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, verified this.

The purpose of these appointments, according to the statement, is to improve strategic communication and community participation.

Among the recently appointed officers and their new assignments are CSP Isuku Victor Edailokun to the position of Deputy Force Public Relations Officer at Force Headquarters Abuja, DSP Ukandu Joshua to the position of PPRO in Ebonyi, ASP Buhari Abdullahi to the position of PPRO in Gombe, ASP John Timfon to the position of PPRO in Akwa-Ibom, and ASP Hundeyin Isaac Sewanu to the position of PPRO in the Ports Authority Police (Western) unit in Lagos.

With best wishes for the newly posted officers, the Inspector General of Police reaffirms his determination to realign the Force with his vision statement and standardize its operations, as stated in the announcement.
