After Sunday’s loss to Aston Villa, former vice president Atiku Abubakar has encouraged Arsenal to recover.

At the Emirates Stadium, the Gunners were startled as the visitors defeated them 2-0.

Unai Emery’s team scored with substitute Leon Bailey and Ollie Watkins.

It was a disappointing outcome for Arsenal’s title aspirations.

Mikel Arteta’s players still have a shot at winning the title, according to Atiku, who was the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 federal elections.
“Arsenal did not perform as anticipated. Even so, we press on; it won’t end until it does,” Atiku, a fervent Arsenal fan, wrote on X.

On Wednesday, the North London club will face Bayer Munich.
